Aaron’s and Warrick Dunn Charities’ Homes for the Holiday Surprise Another Family

Aaron’s, Inc. participated in surprising single mother of two Catherine Echols as part of its partnership with Warrick Dunn Charities Homes for the Holiday program. The program assists single parents as they become first-time homeowners while Aaron’s helps transform the house into a fully furnished home including furniture, food and all the amenities associated with being settled in a personal home. “It was quite moving to watch the surprise, tears, and joy shown by Catherine as it began to settle in that this house had been transformed into a move-in ready home,” shares Aaron’s Division Lead Counsel Heather A. Calhoun. “I overheard her 5-year-old daughter, Destini, whisper to herself as she walked into her new pink bedroom, “This is the best day of my whole life.”” Also in attendance of the home reveal was Aaron’s Sales and Lease Ownership President Douglas Lindsay who spoke on behalf of the company and Aaron’s Social Media Manager Chris Dennison who shared the reveal on Facebook Live feed.
